Proper garden grilling without the compromise. This House of Home barrel charcoal BBQ delivers a 70.5 x 38.5cm enamel coated cooking grid — enough surface to run two heat zones simultaneously, searing on one side while holding and resting on the other — all at a comfortable 75cm cooking height.
The lid mounted temperature gauge lets you monitor heat at a glance without lifting the lid and losing temperature. Combined with the chimney vent and adjustable airflow, you have full control over cooking conditions whether you are going for a fast high heat grill or holding a steadier temperature for larger cuts.
A warming rack attached to the lid gives you a second cooking level for keeping food warm or finishing delicate items away from direct heat — a feature usually found on more expensive units. The lower chrome plated coal wire rack sits beneath the firebox, and a charcoal pan ash catcher beneath that keeps the cooking area clean and protects the surface underneath.
The trolley style frame rolls on two wheels for easy repositioning around the garden or patio. A bar handle on the non-wheel side gives you a stable grip when moving the unit.
